A
word from the Resource Promotion's Chair:
The 13th Annual ASHRAE
Gold Coast Chapter Golf Tournament to support ASHRAE Research was held
on October 15th. The weather was cool and the morning’s rain cleared
in time to provide sunny skies over the beautiful Jacaranda Country Club.
If you were there you probably enjoyed yourself as much as most attendees
and myself. I would first like to thank all those businesses and individuals
who supported the event by either being a hole sponsor or playing golf.
The Golf tournament was successful again this year as it raised $12,787.80
for ASHRAE Research. Special thanks goes out to Rick Ellison of Diversified
Fluid Controls who organized the entire event, purchased hole sponsorships,
entered foursomes in the tournament, and provided the services of two
of his employees during the event. I would like to congratulate the winners
of the tournament as well.
