Mr. Iacouzze has been in the HVAC industry for 35 years and currently works for McGill AirFlow providing applications services to engineers, contractors, building owners and specification writers. He served on the ASHRAE Duct Design Committee TC 5.2, and Central Forced Air Heating and Cooling Systems Committee TC 6.3, and has authored and co-authored 12 manuals, standards and duct construction documents To RSVP, email your Chapter Programs Chair at erik.walter@meinhardtusa.com. Re: Eric T. Jenison, Past Chapter President (1995-1997) for two terms Total Dynamics Balance P.O. Box 4187 Deerfield Beach, Florida 33442 Eric was born in Providence, Rhode Island and is one of four children. He has an associates degree from Rhode Island College and is the owner of Total Dynamic Balance, Inc, founded in 1989. He worked in the test and balance field since 1980 starting with Air Balance Associates Company. Eric is currently married and living with his wife, Linda, in Lighthouse Point, Florida. Hobbies include; work, golf and work, not necessarily in that order. As a boy in Providence, Eric worked for his father's heating and air conditioning company. Of course, he did not get paid, but he remembers helping his father at a very young age. He later worked at his brother's oil company as a Project Manager for an oil lease. With his entrance into the test and balance field in 1980, Eric truly started his work into the HVAC field. After nine years, he decided to "go alone" and started Total Dynamic Balance, Inc. Reflecting to his start, Eric recalled that most systems he worked on were rather constant volume systems. Variable Air Volume systems were relatively new and Direct Digital Control was just coming into it's own. These systems now dominate the industry. Eric joined ASHRAE in 1987 as suggested by his employer. Living in Lighthouse Point, he joined the Gold Coast Chapter. He has remained active in the chapter level since. He has chaired Education and Historical Committees and will be Research Chairman for the 1998-99 year. As Historian, he achieved the highest POAE Points of any chairman in the society in 1992. Eric feels ASHRAE and the HVAC Industry have become more complicated over the past few years. IAQ Standard 62-89, research into CFC problems, and now BACnet has put ASHRAE in the forefront of the HVAC Industry. He advised any young person to get involved in ASHRAE. The benefits outweigh any aggravation. In fact, Eric credits much of his business success to his involvement with his associates in ASHRAE. "I will always be a member of ASHRAE", he said, "Give me a call if you need anything else." Let us know if there is a topic you would like to see presented. want to thank everyone for coming to our December Social. It looks from
the pictures that many had a good time. It was nice to see people at the
social that we had not seen for a long time and new faces also. I hope
everyone had great Holidays and I wish everyone a Happy New Year to
