LOCATION TIME Presentation: RSVP PRICE
UPCOMING or |
Mike Bina has been with Honeywell for 22 years. His first job was in the Training Center, teaching mechanical systems, electric/electronic controls and also pneumatic controls. This progressed into DDC controls with the introduction of Excel (now Excel Classic) product line into the North American market. He trained technicians, engineers and sales people for approximately 18 years. His next job was training customers/end users on Honeywell equipment. Over 50% of this training was at the customer's location. This included the entire line of HVAC controls and the Building Automation Systems. He did this for approximately 6 years. When the Global Demonstration Center opened in Minneapolis, Mike Bina was chosen as the presenter and manager of the facility. This facility represented all of the products from the Honeywell Building Solutions business. Since 2000, he has been involved with various assignments, that all focus on the sales force. Currently, he is a SSC (System Sales Consultant) for the Central Region. In addition to HVAC, he is also involved with Security/Access Control, Fire/Life Safety, CCTV/Digital Video, Asset Tracking, and Energy Applications.
Check back soon
as we update this years calendar of events A
word from the To all those who attended last months (The March) meeting…I’m sure you will agree it was one of the best ones yet.
To those who missed it…too bad! However, we may have an opportunity to have this speaker back at our August CRC. I talked to several people after the meeting and they told me what a great meeting this was. Our meeting attendance was dropping off after the new year but this month we exceeded our attendance expectations. The meal was delayed because the cook had to scrounge up a few more chickens. I have a great concern
that many of our members are not getting meeting notices. This is due
to comments from people who regularly attend, like Charlie Helton who
told me he did not get a reminder or was not notified. Fortunately, he
called up the Web site and got the meeting details.
Teresa Williams from Haliczer Pettis Attorneys at Law, telling the ASHRAE audience that “Ladies and Gentlemen, regardless of how flawless your design is, This Is What The Jury Sees”
and “You will be found Guilty!”
Sincerely, Don
Austin Membership I wanted to take the time to invite all of our members and their guests. If anyone wants to become a member we will pick up their dinners if they join the night of the meeting. We will be welcoming Traci Just at our April’s meeting also. She is our Regional program Chairperson. I am looking forward to see you at our next meeting. If you are not a member
of ASHRAE, and would like to join please contact me at my
email
or phone (954) 527-1112.
